1. About these terms

QodiAcademy.com is operated by Stage & Screen Designs LLC as The Stage & Screen Designs Academy. By enrolling, purchasing, or using this site, you agree to these terms.

2. Your enrollment is personal

Each enrollment is for one person only. Your access code is personal and may not be shared, sold, or transferred. One person may not enroll on behalf of a group. For group, school, or company access, please contact us about licensing.

Access period

Each course purchase includes 12 months of access, starting on the date of purchase. Access to each course is timed separately. To continue after 12 months, you may renew by enrolling in the course again.

3. Course materials

All lessons, diagrams, forms, assessments, and other course materials belong to Stage & Screen Designs LLC and are protected by copyright. They are provided for your personal study only. You may not copy, record, screenshot for distribution, download for redistribution, post, share, resell, or use the materials to teach or train others without our written permission. Lessons may display your email address to protect the materials. Sharing or copying course materials may result in loss of access without a refund, and we may take further action to protect our work.

No AI use. You may not upload, paste, or otherwise provide Academy materials, including lesson text, forms, assessments, scenarios, images, or downloads, to any artificial intelligence, chatbot, summarizing, or model-training service, or to any external content platform, without our written permission.

4. Professional responsibility

The Academy provides professional education. It does not replace your license, your state's cosmetology or barbering rules, product manufacturers' directions, or the policies of any production or employer. Always work within your license and training. Nothing in the courses is medical advice; refer medical concerns to a physician or dermatologist.

5. Ask Qodi

Ask Qodi is an AI-assisted tool. Its answers are for guidance and may contain mistakes. Check important information, follow the course materials and product directions, and do not share private information about other people when asking questions.

6. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Refund policy: sales are final once a lesson is opened. Because our courses are digital and you receive the full materials the moment you open them, a course cannot be refunded after any of its lessons has been opened. If you have not opened any lesson in a course, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. The Academy keeps a record of when each lesson is first opened.

Ask Qodi Membership. You may cancel your membership at any time to stop future charges, and you keep access until the end of the month you paid for. A monthly payment can be refunded only if it is requested within 7 days of that charge and the membership was not used during that time.

Digital kits and downloads are delivered immediately after purchase, so those sales are final.

Always covered. Duplicate charges, charges made in error, and technical problems we cannot fix will always be made right. Payments made with Klarna, Afterpay, Zip or another pay-later provider follow this same policy; refunds go back through that provider.

To request a refund or ask about a payment, email info@stagescreendesigns.com with your name, the email you enrolled with, and the course. If a payment is disputed with your bank, access is paused while the dispute is reviewed.

7. Certificates

Certificates recognize successful completion of a course, including its final assessment. A certificate is an educational achievement. It is not a license, does not replace any license or certification required by law, and does not give permission to teach, present, reproduce, or license Academy materials.

8. Changes

We may update courses, features, and these terms to improve the Academy. The current version will always appear on this page.

Privacy

What we collect: your name and email; your purchase details from Stripe; your access code; your course progress; work you submit; and questions you ask Ask Qodi.

How we use it: to give you access to your courses, track your progress, review your work, send you course and account emails, and support you.

Who helps us: we use trusted service providers to run the Academy, including Stripe for payments, our web host, email delivery, and an AI service provider for Ask Qodi. Questions you type into Ask Qodi are sent to that provider to generate answers, so please do not include private personal details. We do not sell your personal information.

Site visits: we count visits to the site without storing names, email addresses, or IP addresses.

Your choices: to ask what we hold about you, or to request that it be corrected or deleted, email info@stagescreendesigns.com.
